The Grand Prix of Crete (referred to in the text as the Grand Prix of Greece) for clay target shooting in the Compak Sporting discipline took place from July 24 to July 25, 2021. The competition was held at the Chania National Shooting Range on the island of Crete, Greece. The event was organized by the Vardas Shooting Club with the support of FITASC and the Hellenic Shooting Federation (ΣΚΟΕ).
1. Program Schedule
July 17 – 22 (Saturday – Thursday): Official trainings from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
July 23 (Friday): Trainings from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
July 23 (Friday): Opening Ceremony and BIB distribution at 4:30 pm.
July 24 (Saturday): 1st day of competition (100 targets), starting at 9:00 am.
July 25 (Sunday): 2nd day of competition (100 targets), starting at 9:00 am.
July 25 (Sunday): Awards and closing ceremony at 4:30 pm.
2. Entry Fees
€ 150.00 – Individual entry fee for the Man, Lady, Senior, Veteran, and Master categories.
€ 95.00 – Individual entry fee for the Junior category.
€ 5.00 – Training round (25 targets).
3. Event Highlights
According to the official poster, this tournament was part of the large-scale celebration of the FITASC centenary, commemorating "100 Years of Sports Shooting 1921-2021".
