Location and Contact

Shooting Ground

Located in a forest area at Rynkowska 9, Strzelnica Garnizonowa Bydgoszcz as a premium hub for firearms enthusiasts, reservists, and families. The facility hosts a wide variety of competitions, including PZSS and LOK classification tournaments, military reserve events, and even National Youth Championships in clay pigeon shooting. Its standout feature is its active military status, which allows civilians to legally experience firing heavy weaponry like machine guns and large-caliber sniper rifles during special open events, a rarity for standard commercial ranges.

Infrastructure and Facilities

The range is built to accommodate both rigorous military standards and sports shooting requirements, influenced by natural forest winds and lighting. The key infrastructure elements include:

  • Multiple axes: 15m (dynamic pistol and shotgun), 25m (static pistol), 50m (rimfire), and 100m (rifle sniping).

  • Target systems: Metal poppers, gongs, paper targets, and trap/skeet layouts utilized during national championships.

  • Amenities: A spacious parking area and mobile military-style catering (serving traditional pea soup and BBQ) during events.

  • Extras: Comprehensive gear rentals (belts, holsters, eye/ear protection) and specialized elevated earth berms for maximum ballistic safety.

Training Programs

Led by Tomasz Jaromin, the President of Stowarzyszenie Strzelnica Bydgoszcz, the educational approach covers both individual and group formats for all skill levels. Absolute beginners can take preparatory courses for civilian firearms licenses, while advanced athletes focus on dynamic and precision shooting. The association provides extensive pedagogical support, and members who own firearms can participate in free training sessions twice a month.

Events and Target Audience

The facility maintains a highly active calendar, organizing everything from massive civilian shooting picnics and corporate team-building events to professional sports classifications. It is a versatile location highly suitable for:

  • Beginners looking for safe, guided first steps with firearms.

  • Athletes and collectors needing long-distance or dynamic axes.

  • Corporate teams and uniformed classes seeking military-style integration.

  • Families, with dedicated.22LR rimfire stations safely organized for children.

Key Advantages and Operations

The range offers significant benefits, including military-grade safety, realistic outdoor ballistics, all-inclusive rental packages, and excellent logistics within Bydgoszcz. Basic pricing includes an annual club membership for 400 PLN, tournament entry fees starting at 35-50 PLN, and various gift vouchers ranging from 400 to 800 PLN.
