Location and Contact

Shooting Ground

The CLAYHUNT – BTC Saint Lambert complex is a highly specialized and multi-functional shooting center, recognized as a premier hub for Ball Trap and sporting disciplines in Northern France. Strategically located in the forested area of Fourdrain, Aisne (Hauts-de-France) , the club leverages its natural environment to create challenging and realistic courses, making it an ideal venue for the intensive training of competitive hunters and elite sport shooters. Its operational scale is significant, consistently hosting major international events, such as the FITASC Grand Prix, which underscores its adherence to stringent global standards for safety, infrastructure quality, and operational management.

The most distinguishing competitive feature is the range’s exceptional infrastructure dedicated to field shooting and precision marksmanship. The BTCC boasts an unparalleled 14 separate Parcours de Chasse (Hunting Course) routes, ensuring maximum variability and capacity for multi-day training or competition, alongside four Fosse Universelle (Universal Trench) fields, three DTL lines, and one Compak Sporting course. Critically, the club also offers specialized, high-demand infrastructure for Long Distance Shooting (TLD), accommodating precision rifle shots up to 1,200 meters in partnership with a local association. This unique combination of high-volume clay shooting and tactical long-range capability differentiates CLAYHUNT from standard European clubs.

The facility's location au cœur de la forêt (in the heart of the forest) dictates the high technical difficulty of the courses. The natural, varied relief and dense tree lines create complex visual and ballistic challenges, forcing shooters to adapt to:

  • Vertical and Horizontal Obstacles: Utilizing narrow "windows" for shooting, demanding rapid reaction.

  • Background Complexity: Targets launched against a backdrop of varying light and shadow, increasing the difficulty of trajectory reading.

  • Realistic Hunting Scenarios: The complexity provided by the natural terrain is irreplaceable for Parcours de Chasse specialists.

The club operates as a comprehensive training and education center, catering to all levels from loisir (amateur) to professional. Training is available in individual and group formats, tailored for novices and seasoned competitors, including specialized instruction for hunters on the Sanglier Courant (Running Boar) range. This robust program, combined with a highly competitive external tariff for guests (€7 per 25-target DTL series for non-members) and the guaranteed high quality of its international competition calendar, cements CLAYHUNT – BTC Saint Lambert’s position as a premier European shooting destination.

Key Advantages:

  • Exceptional Capacity: 14 Parcours de Chasse routes and 4 Fosse Universelle fields, supporting massive throughput.

  • TLD Uniqueness: Exclusive infrastructure for Long Distance Shooting up to 1,200 meters, attracting specialized clientele.

  • FITASC Host Status: Confirmed experience hosting international FITASC Grand Prix, verifying operational quality.

  • Realistic Training: Forested, complex terrain ensures technical and visually demanding target presentations.

  • Competitive Pricing: Transparent and competitive per-series pricing for guests.
