FITASC Sporting Competition Calendar

What is FITASC Sporting
FITASC Sporting is an international clay target shooting discipline designed to realistically imitate hunting situations while maintaining a purely sporting format.

The shooter uses a sporting smoothbore shotgun to engage a variety of artificial targets, including:

  • standard targets;

  • rabbits;

  • battue;

  • midi;

  • super mini;

  • flash targets, and more.

Targets are launched from multiple traps along diverse trajectories: high overhead flights, sharp crossing paths, fast dropping lines, and low-speed jumps. This variability demands strong technical skills, precision, and concentration.

Structure of the Competition
FITASC events follow the official rules of the International Federation. A typical competition includes:

  • 200 targets, divided into 25-target series;

  • multiple shooting layouts (layouts) with unique trajectories;

  • shooters grouped into squads of 6;

  • possible shoot-offs for podium places.

Each layout has its own configuration, making every event unique and requiring shooters to adapt their technique in real time.
