Dornsberg sets the gold standard for ecological responsibility in shooting sports. The complex operates under strict environmental guidelines to protect the surrounding forest:

  • A complete ban on lead; only soft iron (steel) ammunition up to max. 2.5 mm shot size and max. 28 is permitted.

  • Exclusive use of environmentally friendly, PAH-free clay targets.

  • Targets are dyed with food coloring that fades under UV light and rain, allowing fragments to become unnoticeable in nature while they naturally biodegrade.
