The EWCS is the largest SPORTING shooting range in Austria and is located approx. 30 kilometers north of Vienna.
The shooting range was founded in 1976 by a group of hunters and sports shooters. Early in its history, the EWCS set itself the goal of offering competition-oriented sporting shooters good training opportunities and organizing sporting competitions at an international level – all within an extremely family-friendly environment. The Grand Prix, which is always held at the end of June, is the annual highlight of the season at the EWCS and attracts many national and international top shooters to Schrick!
Infrastructure:
· 8 to 12 sporting stands (seasonal) at an international level with a total of approx. 120 clay target machines
· Air rifle range with Sius Ascor - electronic scoring (5 stands)
· Handgun range with 12/25 meter cable pull system (5 stands)
· Hunting rifle range with 50/100 meter cable pull system (6 stands)

· Air rifle shooters will find training opportunities for national and international (Olympic) competitions
· Handgun shooters will find training opportunities for all static 12/25-meter competitions
The EWCS is not a commercially operated shooting range, but is run and maintained by the club members. There are therefore no classic opening hours. The official training days of the EWCS are published on the online calendar at www.ewcs.at.
Services and price summary:
In the clay target area, the facility operates with a transparent "day guest" or "member" fee system, which uses a prepaid chip card system for the clay targets. For the air rifle, rifle, and handgun ranges, billing is also based on the "day guest" or "member" fee system on a half-hourly basis.
· Clay targets (day guest): 10 € per series of 25 targets.
· Air rifle range fee (day guest): 10 € per hour
· Rifle range fee (day guest): 10 € per 1/2 hour
· Handgun range fee (day guest): 10 € per 1/2 hour
