Clube dos Caçadores de Braga (CCB) is one of Portugal’s oldest and most prestigious sports associations, celebrating over 125 years of history since its founding in May 1900. Located in the scenic Alto da Vela area near the city of Braga, the club has evolved from a traditional hunting society into a high-performance shooting complex of international standing. It serves as a vital hub for elite athletes, youth prospects, and hobbyists alike, frequently hosting top-tier competitions under the sanctions of FITASC and the Portuguese Federation (FPTAC).
The facility is renowned for its technical excellence, specifically its north-northeast solar orientation, which provides optimal lighting and prevents sun glare for shooters throughout the day. The range is integrated into a challenging natural landscape that offers varied target trajectories against the backdrop of the Minhota hills.

A major focus of the club’s current leadership is the development of young talent through its structured youth academy. The club has produced numerous champions, such as junior prospect Rodrigo Barbosa and European Trap 1 champion Paulo Barbosa.
