Poligon Hunting Fun is a premier shooting complex located in the Moldova region of Romania, specifically in Bacău County. Spanning over 31,000 square meters, the facility is designed for professional training, international competitions, and recreational shooting. Its most distinctive feature is its location within "Groapa Lacului" (Lake Pit), a natural depression that provides excellent acoustic insulation and a safe, controlled environment for high-intensity ballistics.
The complex is divided into five specialized zones to accommodate a wide variety of disciplines:
Carbine Zone: A 160-meter long range featuring 10 covered shooting stands.
Pistol Zone: A 25-meter range with 7 covered stands for short firearms.
Clay Targets Zone: Equipped with 27 professional Promatic throwers, supporting Skeet, Compak Sporting, and DTL.
Archery & Airsoft Zone: A 25-meter area for archery, crossbows, and compressed air weapons.
Digital Simulator Zone: Features the Centaurus brand simulator, allowing for training with real or airsoft weapons in a virtual setting.
Hunting Fun is the first range in Romania to integrate real-time video analysis technology, helping shooters refine their technique through instant playback. The facility is managed by a team of elite instructors, including Liviu Vrincianu, a multiple national and international medalist and World Championship participant. The team offers specialized coaching for all levels, from absolute beginners to professional athletes preparing for high-stakes tournaments.
Beyond individual practice, the complex is a hub for "Port Arma" certification courses, providing the necessary legal and practical training for firearm permits in Romania. It also hosts dynamic shooting competitions that involve navigating preset courses under varying tactical conditions. These events are highly regarded for their emphasis on adaptability and safety, moving beyond traditional static target practice.
For groups and corporate clients, the range provides extensive team-building programs. These events combine safety training and competitive shooting with relaxation at the on-site "Agroturism Codrul Boieresc" restaurant. This integration of professional sports infrastructure with traditional hospitality makes it a unique destination for both serious marksmen and families seeking a weekend of outdoor activity.
