About competition

The Asian Open Compak Sporting - Grand Prix of Kazakhstan competitions in the Compak Sporting discipline will take place from September 22 to 23, 2024. The tournament will be held at the Asanov Shooting Club in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The overall competition program consists of 200 targets (100 targets each day).

Competition Details / Event Schedule

  • September 20 (Friday): Open Training Day, 09:00 - 17:00.

  • September 21 (Saturday): Open Training Day, 09:00 - 17:00.

  • September 21 (Saturday): Opening Ceremony at 19:00.

  • September 22 (Sunday): Competition Day 1 (100 targets), 09:00 - 16:00.

  • September 22 (Sunday): Daily Award Ceremony at 17:00.

  • September 23 (Monday): Competition Day 2 (100 targets), 09:00 - 16:00.

  • September 23 (Monday): Daily & Overall Award Ceremony at 17:00.

Entry Fees & Registration

  • Base entry fee (Man, Lady, Senior, Veteran, Master): 215 EUR.

  • Base entry fee (Junior): 130 EUR.

  • Training round (25 targets): 10 USD.

  • Entry fee to participate in the additional prize pool (Men, Ladies, Veterans over 50 years): 150 USD.

  • Payments for entry fees must be made in cash at the administration office.

Prizes & Rules / Event Highlights

  • Additional prizes from sponsors will be provided, with a total prize pool of 132,000 USD for the shooters.

  • All prizes are nominal and include Kazakhstan taxes, which will be deducted at the time of the award.

  • Overall prizes for Men, Ladies, and Veterans categories: 1st place - 15,000 USD, 2nd place - 10,000 USD, 3rd place - 5,000 USD.

  • Daily awards for the best shooters of the day on September 22nd and 23rd: 1st place - 4,000 USD, 2nd place - 2,000 USD, 3rd place - 1,000 USD.

  • In the event of a tie, a shoot-off will be conducted to determine the winner.

  • Fully automated RangeMaster acoustic release systems and electronic scoreboards, eliminating the need for manual multipull delays.

  • A strict northern firing direction to prevent sun glare and ensure a clear, contrast-rich horizon.

Training Programs and Pricing

The club offers a comprehensive academic approach tailored to all skill levels, from absolute beginners to professional athletes. Visitors can access individual coaching, group sessions, and professional gunsmithing services on-site. Key services include:

  • Single episode (25 shots): 5,500 KZT.

  • Personal training: 46,000 KZT for 1 hour with a coach and 50 shots.

  • Group packages: Starting from 18,000 KZT per person (25 shots) plus instructor fees.

  • Gift certificates: Ranging from 40,000 KZT (50 shots) to 112,000 KZT (150 shots) including gun rental and equipment.
