Riga Shooting Center

Silakrogs, Latvia

Riga Shooting Center (RSC), also known as "Dižsili," is a premier multi-profile shooting complex located in a picturesque forest area near Silakrogs, Latvia. It serves as a versatile destination perfectly suited for professional athletes, active hunters, complete beginners, and corporate groups. By seamlessly integrating its modern infrastructure into the natural landscape, the center creates an authentic and engaging environment for both outdoor recreation and competitive sports.

The core architectural highlight of the facility is its masterful use of the natural forest terrain combined with a unique 10 to 22-meter tower for throwing machines. This specific setup allows the center to generate highly unpredictable and complex target trajectories that mimic real hunting scenarios. The facility features four fully equipped Compak Sporting grounds, each utilizing at least six advanced throwing machines—including specialized ones like Rabbit, Midi, Battue, and Mini—to keep every shot uniquely challenging.

RSC offers an impressive variety of shooting disciplines. Clay target enthusiasts can practice Compak Sporting, Skeet, Olympic Trap, American Trap, Double Trap, and English Sporting. Beyond shotguns, the complex boasts a dedicated rifle range with 100-meter "running elk" and 35-meter "running wild boar" targets, alongside pistol galleries and 100-meter sighting ranges. For a truly unique experience, the center even provides exclusive night shooting services upon prior request.

Training and competitive events are central to the RSC experience. The center provides tailored individual and group coaching for all skill levels, led by highly qualified instructors, including three-time Olympic veteran Boriss Timofejevs and certified specialist Ivars Gulbis. Furthermore, it is a major hub for shooting sports in the Baltics, regularly hosting FITASC international tournaments, local championships, corporate mini-tournaments, and engaging community events like the 9-stage "Anniversary Marathon 2026".

Key Advantages:

  • Dynamic Terrain: The strategic use of natural vegetation and a 22-meter tower creates unparalleled, realistic, and optically challenging target flights.
