26th FITASC European Championship Compak Sporting & Final of Beretta European Cup

The 26th FITASC European Championship Compak Sporting, which also hosted the Final of the Beretta European Cup, was an international clay target shooting tournament held from September 10th to September 13th, 2020. The prestigious event took place at the Ball Trap de Signes shooting range in the Côte d'Azur region of France.

1. Program Schedule

According to the official tournament program, the schedule consisted of five preparation days followed by a 4-day, 200-target main competition:

September 5th – 8th (Saturday – Tuesday): Official Training from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm.
September 9th (Wednesday): Official Training from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
September 9th (Wednesday): Opening ceremony, Bib distribution, and a cocktail for all participants at 6:00 pm.
September 10th (Thursday): 1st Day of competition (50 targets).
September 11th (Friday): 2nd Day of competition (50 targets).
September 12th (Saturday): 3rd Day of competition (50 targets).
September 13th (Sunday): 4th Day of competition (50 targets) followed by the Award and closing ceremony.

2. Entry Fees

Registration prices and training costs were structured as follows:

240,00€ – Individual entry fee for Man, Lady, Senior, Veteran, and Master categories.
145,00€ – Individual entry fee for the Junior category.
100,00€ – National Team entry fee.
8,00€ – Training round (25 Targets).

Its reputation is anchored by its massive infrastructure, featuring a total of 190 automated launchers distributed across the grounds, which allows for unparalleled capacity and complexity in target setting. The complex is highly specialized in dynamic field shooting, providing 25 separate Parcours de Chasse (Sporting Clay) courses and 14 Compak Sporting stands, in addition to single stands for DTL and Olympic Skeet.

The club's elite standing is underscored by its ability to host international events of the highest order, confirmed by the awarding of the 2025 Compak Sporting World Championship. This scale of operation is rare; the facility is prepared to accommodate up to 700–800 shooters for the World Championship and up to 1,200 shooters for Parcours de Chasse events, a capacity matched by only one other club in France. The academy’s co-branding with ZOLI (firearms) and LAPORTE (machines) provides students with access to high-quality, up-to-date equipment and technical services, including a Point Pilote ZOLI section. The club maintains a tiered pricing structure that heavily incentivizes annual membership (€110.00), with the cost per 25-target series ranging from €8.00 for committed members to €13.00 for non-licensed guests, who must also pay a €6.00 daily insurance fee.
