The 40th World Sporting Championship (also designated as the Beretta World Cup Final) was a premier international clay target shooting tournament held from July 12th to July 15th, 2018. The global championship was hosted at the BTC Saint Lambert in Fourdrain (near Laon), France.

Based on the main tournament banner, the competition was conducted with major international backing:

  • Logos & Governing Framework: Sanctioned globally by FITASC and hosted locally in cooperation with the FFBT (Fédération Française de Ball-Trap) and the local club, BTC Saint Lambert.

  • Rankings: Affiliated with the Beretta FITASC Cups circuit and the Gamebore FITASC World Rankings.

1. Full Program Schedule

According to the official schedules, the shooting venue hosted an extensive practice week prior to the multi-day world layout:

  • July 7th – July 11th (Saturday – Wednesday): Daily Training sessions from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.

  • July 11th (Wednesday at 6:00 pm): Opening Ceremony featuring the "Parade of the National Teams", alongside bib distribution and a dinner buffet for all participants at the Hippodrome de Laon.

  • July 12th (Thursday): $1^{\text{st}}$ day of competition (50 targets) starting at 8:00 am.

  • July 13th (Friday): $2^{\text{nd}}$ day of competition (50 targets) starting at 8:00 am.

  • July 14th (Saturday): $3^{\text{rd}}$ day of competition (50 targets) starting at 8:00 am.

  • July 15th (Sunday): $4^{\text{th}}$ day of competition (50 targets) starting at 8:00 am.

  • July 15th (Sunday at 6:00 pm): Award and Closing Ceremony at the Domaine du Clos Saint-Lambert.

2. Entry Fees & Formalities

Registration costs for the global layout were structured across categories as follows:

  • 270 € – Individual entry fee for Man, Lady, Senior, Veteran, and Master categories.

  • 165 € – Individual entry fee for the Junior category.

  • 100 € – National Team entry fee.

  • Firearms Notice: As highlighted in the formalities panel, there were no gun import formalities required for caliber 12 and 20 shotguns in France.
