About competition

The international tournament Grand Prix of Azerbaijan in Compak Sporting will take place from October 16 to October 17, 2010, at the National Olympic Committee Shooting Range in Baku, Azerbaijan. The competition features a total of 200 targets (100 targets per day) and counts towards the European Cup and World Cup 2011.

Competition Details / Event Schedule

  • October 14, 2010 (Thursday): Arrival of delegation and reservation.

  • October 15, 2010 (Friday): Unofficial training and Opening Ceremony.

  • October 16, 2010 (Saturday): 1st Day Competition (100 targets).

  • October 17, 2010 (Sunday): 2nd Day Competition (100 targets), Awarding and Closing Ceremony.

  • October 18, 2010 (Monday): Departure of delegation.

Entry Fees & Registration

  • Entry fee for Seniors, Veterans, Super Veterans, and Ladies: € 160 (including € 17 taxes).

  • Entry fee for Juniors: € 96 (including € 17 taxes).

  • Juniors category: shooters born between 01/01/1990 and 31/12/1992.

  • Veterans category: shooters born between 01/01/1944 and 31/12/1953.

  • Super Veterans category: shooters born until 01/01/1944.

Prizes & Rules / Event Highlights

  • Winners of the competition will be awarded with cups and medals.

  • This event counts towards the European Cup and World Cup 2011.

  • Official sponsor: Bakond.

  • Additional services: Free transfer service from Heydar Aliyev International Airport to hotels and the shooting range, as well as local transportation.

  • Shooting range facilities: 15 hectares area featuring 5 modern layouts, rest rooms, VIP rooms, conference hall, sporting equipment shop, as well as open and closed cafes.
