Wild Boar Clay Pigeon Club (WBCPC) is a traditional, community-focused shooting organization located in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Established in 1976, the club moved to its current site at Dumbers in 2013, maintaining its legacy as a friendly club that emphasizes safety and local traditions. Situated near the Bosley Crossroads, the ground offers an authentic rural shooting experience with panoramic views of the scenic Bosley Cloud.
The club features a 75 Bird Sporting layout, which has been the standard format for its monthly competitions since May 2019. This discipline is designed to simulate realistic field scenarios, utilizing the natural hilly terrain of the area to create challenging and diverse target trajectories. The facility is strictly overseen by CPSA-trained Safety Officers who ensure that all equipment and stands meet rigorous safety protocols.
Key Infrastructure & Ground Features:
Ammunition Policy: Strictly Fibre Wad only; plastic wads and steel shot are prohibited to protect the local farmland.
